10=Non Ongoing - Specific Task
11=Non Ongoing - Irregular Duties

3 APS_ENGAGE_DT_AUS Date(10) DATE NOT NULL The date on which the employee joins an APS service needs to be reported. This date is not the same as the Hire date on JOB record as an employee might be transferred from another public service into the current organization.

4 APS_PREV_IND_AUS Character(2) VARCHAR2(2) NOT NULL For the purpose of APS reporting, it is necessary to the type of industry in which an employee worked in their previous jobs. This information is used for reporting purposes.
01=Private Sector
02=Commonwealth Public Sector
03=State/Local Govt Public Sector
04=Tertiary Education Institution
05=Self Employed
06=Employed in Other Sectors

5 APS_ENTRY_YR_AUS Number(4,0) SMALLINT NOT NULL The date on which the employee arrived in Australia. This field is used by the Australian Public Service for the purpose of reporting. The information is not neede if the employee was born in Australia.

6 APS_MTHR_LNG_AUS Character(1) VARCHAR2(1) NOT NULL This field refers to the mother's 1st language spoken. For the purpose of APS reporting, it is required to know the primary language of mother and father.

2=English & another Language
3=Language other than English
4=Language Unknown
7=Chose not to give

7 APS_FTHR_LNG_AUS Character(1) VARCHAR2(1) NOT NULL This field refers to the father's 1st language spoken. For the purpose of APS reporting, it is required to know the primary language of mother and father.
